  • Apostille is a French vocabulary that means certificate. It refers to the second-level certification issued by the national government agency (generally the Supreme People's Court) to the original certification issuer (usually the local notary office or the international notary), and stamp or label on the certificate, this process is called apostille. The apostille is not a certification of the content of the required certification documents. It is a secondary certification of the original certification issuer (notary office or international notary), and certify whether the notary office or the international notary is qualified to issue the original certification documents.

  • Before the apostille, you must first have international notarization of the certification documents, and then go to the Supreme People's Court to obtain the apostille. The whole process can be called the apostille.
